Mud Lake Soaps is a quaint little soap shop located in northern Indiana. The shop offers luxurious handcrafted soaps, body butter, deodorants and many other natural handmade products. The shop uses the old-fashioned way of making soap, infusing botanicals in oils, and the cold process method.  One of the main benefits of cold process soap making is having complete control over the ingredients. Cold process soap has no added detergents, or synthetics which strip the skin of its natural oils. Making soaps by the cold process method I can use my choice of natural and organic ingredients, which increases the skin-loving benefits. All my soaps are handmade and hand-cut by myself, using my own recipes.  Soaps are then cured for 4-6 weeks before being sold.    My shop’s focus is simple; stay environmentally aware using natural, organic, and sustainable ingredients as much as possible.
